BUA Objective 2 – Fostering Knowledge Exchange
The measure of the Research Forums aims to develop and implement formats of transdisciplinary research and to reflect on methods and processes. In pilot processes, the close cooperation of scientific actors with non-scientific actors from politics, business, art and culture as well as from civil society is concretely tested and reflected. The resulting transdisciplinary partnerships are intended to work on or consolidate future topics along the BUA‘s Grand Challenge initiatives in the long term. At the same time, proposals for structural changes in the conditions for transdisciplinary research are being developed in the Berlin University Alliance in order to create the conditions for anchoring the research mode transdisciplinarity more firmly within the network.
